Connie Lawn is now launching the fourth update of her autobiography, called "You Wake Me Each Morning - the Final Chapter." It tells of her struggles running an independent news bureau. She also discusses some major highlights

"You Wake Me Each Morning" That is what listeners around the world have said to Connie for years, as they heard her radio broadcasts in this country and around the world. The first time she heard the phrase was from Sam Lewis, America’s long - time Ambassador to Israel.

Lawn’s award-winning radio reports are broadcast all over the globe, prompting listeners from all nations to say to her, “You wake me each morning.” On Aug. 15, 2006, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Journalism from the New Zealand Parliament, and on May 10, 2012, she was appointed an Honorary Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services.
